Private Lesson Policy 2023-2024

PAYMENTS
♪ Due by the first lesson of that month.
♪ If payment has not been received by the 15th, a $15 late fee will be added to your next bill. If the bill still has not been paid the following month, an additional $15 will be added on the 1st and on the 15th of every month the bill has not been paid.
♪ Must be paid monthly for regularly scheduled lessons.
♪ Is non refundable
♪ May not be deducted from the bill unless authorized by the instructor.
Cancellations and Make-Up Lessons
♪ Every student is given access to their online calendar. You are responsible for cancelling your lessons online in a timely fashion.
♪ 24 –Hour notice minimum is required for cancellations.
♪ If proper notice is given, the student is entitled to a make-up lesson within 3 months of the cancellation if a time is available.
♪ Short notice cancellations will not be allowed unless authorized by the instructor and a make-up lesson will be given.
♪ If you do not come or call for your lesson, you are responsible for payment of the lesson and will not be guaranteed a make-up lesson.
♪ Students will be taken out of the schedule if they do not come or call for two weeks in a row, and are still responsible for payment of those lessons
♪ Any cancellation by the instructor will count as a make-up.
♪ Make-ups must be done before any discontinuation. If there are any make-ups left and the student discontinues, he/she forfeits those lessons.
Discontinuation
Students may discontinue at any point during their studies, however make-ups must be completed before your last lesson.
I require at least 2 weeks notice in writing for any discontinuation.
Students that discontinue are always welcome back as long as there is room in my schedule.
Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee a time slot.
Students that return after a discontinuation forfeit their original cost per lesson, and are charged the current rate.
Vacation Vouchers
As a courtesy, students are given two vacation days per year (one if you begin after July 1), good for one lesson each. You will receive a credit for the cost of one lesson for each vacation day presented. If not used, your vacation days will expire on 12/31 of the year they were issued. Students that discontinue for the summer do not receive any vacation days and are not guaranteed their preferred time slot upon return.
Expectations and Conduct
All students and parents will be provided with a list of expectations and rules of conduct which they are expected to abide by in and out of the studio. Failure to follow these rules can result in loss of a student’s time slot.
